Loosing Oneself is a photographic diary and countdown. It documents my everyday life and the special events within it. On the day that I received the first letter from the public prosecutor, I started taking a selfie every day. By taking these selfies, I counted down my last days of freedom. For almost a year, the prosecution office had not given me a date for my trial. Each day, I waited for someone to decide my future and whether I would be incarcerated for five years. After I received a two-year sentence on probation, I continued with the series, as the threat of receiving my full sentence was still possible, if I broke the law.
